Equipment

All players will be required to wear sneakers. We suggest volleyball knee pads, which can be purchased at Dick's or online at www.allvolleyball.com. Get knee pads that aren't too bulky. Tee shirts and shorts or sweats should also be worn to play. Each player will get at PAL VB tee shirt!

2022/2023 Winter Volleyball starts on Monday, Nov. 28th.  Each age group plays weekly on the days and times set below at Galloway Township Middle School at 100 S Reeds Rd, Galloway, NJ 08205.  As you go down Reeds Road, it's the last school building on the right and the entrance is on the left hand side of the building.

4th - 6th grades:  Mondays from 6pm to 7:15pm - FULL, no longer accepting registrations
7th and 8th grades: Wednesdays from 6pm to 7:15pm
High School: Fridays from 7:30 to 9:15

We will use the same successful format that we have been refining since 1998, which is a mix of instructional clinic by trained/certified coaches, combined with game play. The clinic format will be used for the two divisions of younger kids. The HS coed format is competitive recreational play. 

Age Groups and Schedule
The start date is noted after the age group:
-  4th -6th Grades - Mondays from 6pm to 7:30pm (starts December 5th)
-  7th & 8th Grades - Wednesdays from 6pm to 7:30pm (starts December 7th) 
-  9th - 12th Grades - Wednesdays from 7:30pm to 9pm (starts December 7th)

Every week each age group will play on the same day and time.  We don't get the school calendar until the first of each month, so when we lose the gym to a school function, we revise the schedule and post an announcement on this website. We don't call or e-mail, so please check the website before you go to GTMS to see if there have been any updates.
